Ban Against the Man!
We have ridden ourselves of the burden of cable. That's right folks! We are no longer glued to the addicting lightbox.
Since going back to work, I can literally count the number of times I have watched TV, without it being DVR, on one hand. If I don't record it, I don't watch it. How often do you find yourself numbly scanning the endless 100's of channels only to watch something old that you have seen before.
We were victim of it. We both grew up in TV households. Both mother's are Lifetime watchers. We call it the girly/VaJJ channel, but nonetheless, they are avid TV watchers. Well, we are breaking the cycle!
We are being the change we want to see in the world! CABLE NO MORE!! Jay is trying to start a revolution he says. We are subscribers to Netflix and Hulu Plus so that covers the cable channel shows. Then we will have an antenna to put in the attic for our basic stations. Easy peasy lemon squeezy!!
